Hyperion Greek God and Titan

Hyperion Greek God and Titan of light and wisdom, was the son of Uranus and Gaea.

Hyperion was married to his sister, Theia, and she bore him 3 children:

  • Helios (sun)
  • Selene (moon)
  • Eos (dawn)

He, along with Crius, Coeus, and Iapetus, were the four pillars. He helped hold his father, Uranus, in place while Cronus castrated him, thus overthrowing him.

Hyperion is not mentioned in relation to the rebellion against Zeus.
